Ha! Shea Goodbye! despite this lousy jobless economy, we are in the era of new ballparks.
bittersweet, Isn't it though? I remember when our beloved Met Stadium was torn down after the Dome was forced upon us. The Metrodome is the worst stadium in the MLB.
Hi Vivian how do all those people get off work to watch the game lol. Thank you for your comment on the road to the glens photo. It was taken on the road to Ben Nevis Fort William Scotland. This was not a typical day in Scotland, the sun was shining.lol.
Hi Vivian thank you your comment about roar of the sea pic, it was taken from Bannf beach looking towards Macduff in the north of Scotland, this is the north sea.
Hi Vivian, thank you for your kind comments about pic Ayr sunset. i will reload this for you without my watermark so you can download it and keep it, just a little present for you.
It never ceases to amaze me how the Romans built stadiums 2000 years ago in places like Rome, Nimes, Orange, Lyon, etc, that are still standing today, and some are still being used (like in Nimes, France) but our stadiums don't even last 50 years before getting torn down. I can't help but think of Veteran's Stadium in Philadelphia built around 1970, and gone by about 2000, demolished to make way for a new stadium. If that is not a symbol of our wasteful, throw-away culture, I don't know what is...
With age comes wisdom, it's true, so make sure the wisdom you gain is worthwhile.
I thought my self immature till I had a baby. A baby is a sure way to mature oneself. So I had two more! And now that they are grown and mature, they call me immature!
It takes two to tango. It takes two to marry. It takes two to keep it going.
Treat words like grains of salt. Grab hold of them and learn, but allow some to slip through your hands.
And above all else....I give thanks to God....everyday!
