I look forward to the full bloom of my weeping cherry tree on my front lawn. When it is in bloom, all I see is pink as I walk by my front door. It is a thrill I adore!

I am in the mood for viewing green today, being that it is St. Patrick's day, so I dug up this photo, taken back in the fall in Eastport, Long Island. A view of the river through the green on the trees. I get a peaceful, easy feeling looking at this scene.

March Snow

The thing about snow in March, on Long Island, is that it doesn't last very long.
On Monday, March 2, it came in as a lion, like sometimes it does, but by Sunday it will be meek as a lamb as the tempatures rise to 60! I can't wait to be able to sit on my deck again in shorts....soon!
