I have lost a dear friend like Penny... and I am sure the rain in your eyes is normal for what you are going through.

my heart aches so bad right now.
I thought for sure she had a couple more years to live.
I have 2 poms of my own that I'm completely in love with (they're pretty much the only thing I post about!) so I can imagine the heart break you feel. I'm so sorry!! It brings tears to my eyes just knowing that someday they'll be gone. I pray you feel comfort in such a hard time.
thank you, Andrea, I guess we have to find comfort in knowing we give them love, care and the best doggy life they could ever have.....still, it hurts right now, but I know my old friend, Time,will heal me.
So sorry for your loss Vivian... I lost a kitty several years ago, and 2 of my kitties ran away almost 2 months ago... I understand the deep grieving... take comfort in the memories...

Rachel, thank you so much. It's been a week now and I am feeling a bit better. I still see her though ( or imagine that I do ) in all the places she would sit and watch me.
Time and friends are a great healer.
