This is one of my favorite photos that I took with my old Nikon F a few summers ago. It takes better pictures than the digital Canon I have been using now.
Thank you so much for your kind comment about my poem... and sympathy for my asthma.
We live rural here... 'country-fied' as my hubby might say. I belive people are supposed to have burn permits... and I know they are not supposed to burn at night.
I wish I could slap whomever with a fine... that would help.
I love your photos. I see we both are following the Nikon Sniper. YOU have some beautiful photos yourself.
Love, thank you! You cracked me up with "country-fied"...reminds me of the movie, O Brother where art thou"...when he said, She said you're not bonna-fied.
Very nice this one Vivian. I had little time lately to dedicate to the blog as also to visit others blogs. Well I am doing my best to keep up! Only today I was able to update the blog.
thank you, Adrian.....this is one of my own favorite photos. And I know what you mean about not having time to dedicate to blogs.....it's called "Life"! and life happens, thank God, still, us artist ( I think I am ) feel anxiety or lost when we can't do what we love. I am also on 4 poetry workshops that I contribute to, so I must split myself up between it all.....fun fun fun!
With age comes wisdom, it's true, so make sure the wisdom you gain is worthwhile.
I thought my self immature till I had a baby. A baby is a sure way to mature oneself. So I had two more! And now that they are grown and mature, they call me immature!
It takes two to tango. It takes two to marry. It takes two to keep it going.
Treat words like grains of salt. Grab hold of them and learn, but allow some to slip through your hands.
And above all else....I give thanks to God....everyday!
All my poems and photos are copyrighted. Thank you to all who have left a comment.
