I didn't know there were any barber shops left. That is a cool photo. The prices are not too bad either.

I don't know where Stateofmind, NY is, but it looks a lot like Columbiana, AL, only colder and the haircuts are a couple of bucks cheaper. Mine just went to $11.00, plus tip of course. Is there a traffic light in your little "home town"? We have three. Great interpretation.

thank you, Larry. You don't have any barbershops where you live? Oh my!

Larry, Eeyore, Stateofmind I got from a Billy Joel song. "I'm in a New York state of mind" Kind of went nice with my home state.
This is actually the little town of where I work....I love it here. Reminds me of a Norman Rockwell painting. We have 4 wonderful seasons here...not too hot and not too cold.
And yes, there is one traffic light in this little town.
btw...our haircuts went up to $11.00 this year...but worth every dollar you pay! ; )
And we fix $6.00 haircuts! hahaha

Pretty good price for a haircut, even if it is now $11.

As for your question about the Swan Boats: they are propelled by a water wheel, usuallly pedaled by college students.

I wish my haircuts were that cheap! Nice shot.

The little guy was about 6 weeks old there and lucky to be alive. We rescued both of them....there is a bit of a feral cat problem around here.
