In a world of different taste and of beauty that lies in the eye of the beholder, the difference between what is ugly and what is pretty, although cute.....this guy is pretty ugly!

Interestingly, over the weekend, my son was doing a poster for the Temperate Grasslands for science - & the Bison/Buffalo of course got in the picture. Would of been fun to have seen one of these so close.
On Catalina Island off the coast here, they brought in some buffalos years ago and they still graze there...and serve buffalo burgers in the restaurants.
Yeah, Rob, that's it! he really is kind of cute, even if he lost his head. Poor thang.
Tash, He sure is BIG, least what's left of him....his head. This stuffed buffalo head is up on a wall of a restaurant we go to where they are famous for their bison burgers. I haven't been brave enough to try those burgers yet. I'll stick to fish and chicken and vegetables and fruit.
I wonder if those buffalo grazing in the grass on Catalina island know that their brothers are now burgers on a bun! Yikes!
We have some buffalo here too on some farms...they really are quite peaceful and never bother anyone.
Well, I think if he was alive, I would have called him pretty. Stuffed like that, however, not so much. :P
