This lock is on the door of a house from the 1800's, in Old Bethpage village.

The shot reminded me of another place, North Dakota. I remember an article that I read about the abandoned places in ND. Some of the houses still had old clothes from the people that lived there. Good shot here with an wonderful representation of the past.
Thank you, Adrian! This was taken in the Old Bethpage Restoration Village, in Bethpage, LI. I love going to places like this.....I can feel the presence of the past there. Ahhh, if the walls could talk! I have 27 photos from here on facebook.
